Occupational Risk Prevention seeks to promote the improvement of the health and safety of workers at work, through the application of measures and the development of the necessary activities to prevent the risks derived from working conditions.
In addition to the regulations in accordance with current legislation and activities carried out by the preventive teams, the involvement of the entire organisation is of vital importance, promoting a culture of safety where we all take care of each other, and where we can do our bit.
In this sense, at Lontana Group we invite all employees to make suggestions for improvement in prevention, obtaining extraordinary results as shown by the data collected in recent years, where we have been able to implement more than 2,000 improvements in prevention and safety from these suggestions.
Every year, among all the suggestions received, they are analysed and the one considered the best is awarded a prize. The winner for the year 2021 was that of Gines Vizcaino, from the Barcelona centre, who proposed a new way of handling large materials, improving ergonomics and reducing the risk of accidents. CONGRATULATIONS!
