The local government of Ningbo City presents this award as part of the Enterprise Management Modernisation Plan implemented in Zhejiang Province.

- What is the Modernisation Plan implemented by the Zhejiang Government?
The local government of Ningbo City gives this recognition as part of the Business Management Modernisation Plan implemented in Zhejiang Province.
The aim of this plan is to guide enterprises to adapt to the new development stage, implement the new development concept, build a new development pattern, further improve the modernisation of enterprise management and promote the high-quality development of the industry.
- What is the territorial scope of the qualification?
All enterprises in Ningbo city, which is composed of 12 regions, participate. In total there are 164 5-star awarded enterprises, and in the new Qianwan area there are 16 5-star awarded enterprises including Londex.
- What criteria are taken into account by the Evaluation Committee?
The Committee scores different parameters: the first part assesses management modernisation based on benchmarking areas (strategic management, organisational management, management innovation, digital development, standardisation, quality, brand management, supply chain, cultural development, risk prevention and control. The second part assesses aspects related to efficient production (planning and control, facility management, production flexibility, team management and team building).
4. What aspects of Londex would you highlight in terms of innovation?
In terms of management innovation, I would highlight, for example, the work procedures we have established internally and management tools such as SCRA, rational suggestions, etc…
And in terms of technical aspects, I would highlight the new products and patents project.
I would also say that the digital systems we use at Londex, such as the MES system, provide us with production processing, visual inspection and indications from Spain.
- How has this recognition been received by the organisation?
