Lontana Group participated in the latest edition of the Atlas of Committed Companies in the Basque Country, a study that analyses Basque companies' commitment to sustainable development and their contribution to the economic and social environment.
The Atlas is an initiative promoted by Economía Digital and the consulting firm Sofiver, with the support of entities such as the Basque Government, Fundación BBK and Eroski, which aims to measure and highlight the performance of companies in ESG (environmental, social and governance) criteria.
More than fifty companies based in the Basque Country have participated in this edition, which together represent a significant part of the region's industrial and business fabric. The report assesses various key areas such as the environment, people and good governance, in order to provide an objective view of the degree of commitment of the organisations.
Highest rating in Good Governance and People
In the analysis carried out within the Atlas, Lontana Group obtained the highest score in the categories of Good Governance and People, two areas that reflect essential aspects of the group's corporate culture.
On the one hand, the Good Governance category assesses aspects related to transparency, business ethics, control systems and responsibility in decision-making. On the other hand, the People section analyses policies aimed at professional development, team well-being and the creation of a working environment based on respect and trust.
These results highlight the importance that Lontana Group attaches to responsible, value-based and people-centred management as the foundation for building strong and lasting relationships with employees, customers and partners.
