Aitor Menika will assume leadership of the Non-Ferrous division on January 1, 2026, replacing Óscar Ruiz, who is retiring after more than three decades with the Group.
Lontana Group has announced a change in the management of one of its most established business lines. Following the retirement of Óscar Ruiz, who has led the Non-Ferrous division since 1989, Aitor Menika will take over as manager and join the Group's Management Committee.
For more than 35 years, Óscar Ruiz has been a key figure in the development of the Non-Ferrous business, guiding its evolution from a small warehouse of bronze products to a strategic line with international reach. His leadership, vision and ability to anticipate market needs have contributed decisively to the Group's sustainable growth.
He will be replaced by Aitor Menika, a professional with extensive experience within the organisation. Having worked for many years in the commercial area and, more recently, in industrial processes, he brings a global vision of the business and a deep knowledge of the market.
With this succession, Lontana Group consolidates a management structure based on continuity, the development of internal talent and responsible leadership, in line with its strategy of sustainability and good governance.
The family-owned Group, with more than 75 years of experience, is made up of companies specialising in the marketing and manufacture of ferrous and non-ferrous metal products, fastening systems and solutions for industry.
With a workforce of over 1,000 people, its purpose is to promote sustainable development in the industrial world, combining economic progress with social and environmental responsibility.
