75 years driving sustainable development in the industrial world.
75 years of history, 75 years of effort and dedication, 75 years of challenges and improvement.
Last Friday 24th November we celebrated our 75th anniversary in an unforgettable event at the Euskalduna Palace. The event, led by the magic of Jorge Blas, was attended by the President of the Basque Government, Iñigo Urkullu; the Regional Minister for Economic Development, Sustainability and the Environment, Arantxa Tapia, and the Regional Deputy for Economic Promotion, Ainara Basurko; together with more than 900 Group professionals from plants and sales offices in 15 countries.
To the rhythm of “All we need is you”, we paid a warm tribute to all the people who have been part of the Group’s history and promoted our commitment to those who today form part of the organisation and are a fundamental part of the Group’s sustainable development.
In the words of our CEO Felipe Villaño: “focusing on the customer, self-improvement, teamwork and integrity in everything we do are the keys to the evolution of the company”. Felipe also considers that the family character gives the Group a “long-term vision” and educates us in “continuous reinvestment in the business” and thanked the institutions for their “defence, support and commitment to family businesses”.
The celebration was also the perfect occasion for the Human Resources Director, Naiara García Zabala, to present the company’s purpose to the entire organisation: “To generate prosperity and trust in society by promoting the sustainable development of the industrial world”.
At 75 years old, we remain faithful to our commitment to people and society, promoting job creation and the generation of economic activity both nationally and internationally.
